Whatever happened to San Diego? It used to be that we could enjoy a little wine while enjoying a romantic sunset on our beaches. I don't think this endangered 'family values',which is what the Coronado mayor was inferring. America's finest city? America's most restrictive city is more like it. -- Jamie
How about tacking a $.50 tax per can of beer? Use the revenue to police the beaches. Raise fine for alcohol violations. Let the drinkers pay the price as is being done to smokers, +$2/pack. -- Dave
I extremely agree with the booze ban starting in march, it leads to drunkeness and that is a danger to everyone, espeially the children. Hopefully, it will teach drinkers to have some discretion in public which is what they dont have now. -- Amanda
