We asked for your thoughts as President Bush gave his final press conference in office.
Obviously President Bush didn't put much thought into his latest speech, nor did his speech writer. The only thing I like about his nonsense speeches is finding out what new word President Bush makes up. "Bushisms" are great. -- Justin
It took Bush 8 years to be real with Americans. I am so happy that he is finally leaving; America is now ready for a REAL President. -- Angelica
President Bush has an opportunity to gracefully relinquish his position and welcome a new era and a new president with dignity. By denying that government response to hurricane Katrina was nothing short of a tragedy he accentuates his lack of compassion and his inability to ask for forgiveness. Forgiveness is something he could use right now. -- CJ
This person has committed some of the worst crimes against humanity ever. Bankrupting America, Using 911, fear, and manipulation to gain support for an occupation in the middle east. Distracting the American public from real issues by making gays a threat. The worst is that he thinks he is doing Gods work yet he uses the bible to manipulate and blind and seperate America. So SAd. Now poor Obama has to pick up the pieces and it will not be a good 4 years for him. Im just happy I was at Bush's last inaguration in DC and gave him the middle finger as he drove past in his motorcade! haha. ps. and his slutty daughters too. --

My only thought is How can a man who was elected President of the United States not know that people who fly helicopters are pilots, not drivers !! -- Patrick
Bush's last press conference is a great example of how he thinks he can use humor to overlook key issues, and is never willing to truly own up to failures he has contributed to. --

I felt the President was passionate and truthful about his diplomacy decisions. He had a right to use this format to speak in whatever mannerism he waned to rebut all the "bad" press he has received over the past 8 years!Bravo Mr. President and a BIG thank you for keeping us safe after 911! -- Lorene
