We asked your thoughts about the city's ballooning pension debt.
No one who retires keeps their job and retirement at the same time in the private marketplace. It prevents a job from opening up to someone else, and to be paid at a rate of 8 percent intrest to retire also is robbery. -- Gale
I'm sick and tired of news stories making it seem like city workers are to blame for this mess. Go after the thieves who put us in this situation and re-coup their pentions and put those criminals in jail where they belong!! -- D.J.

Seems Mike Aguirre tried to tell us about this. Bankruptcy is the only way out after Scott Peters and the Unions sold us out. This is grand theft by the city council and the unions. -- James
