I really think that these buget cuts are going to come back to bite the members of the City council and the mayor. I am sure glad I didn't vote for the mayor. I do not see him giving up his retirement from the city. Also do you want to bet that the crime rate goes up in Balboa Park? -- Pat
I find the plan unworkable, personally insulting.
With this economic crisis, violence and robberies have become extremely common in this milieu. However, taking officers away from the streets will promote these acts.
Furthermore, once the economy recovers, the county will spend more money training new hires. Money it does not have. -- Mr. Lopez

Are you kidding me. This same mayor is talking to the chargers about a new stadium. This city is bankrupt and when you are bankrupt you file for bankrupcy? That is not hard to understand one would think. -- James Jolly
