We asked your opinions on airport security procedures.
How did we let this Yemeni guy on an American-bound flight. At this point . . . I'm just not going to risk flying. -- Sally
If we can't stop a bomber from getting on a plane, how can we expect to stop another 9/11. Why wasn't this guy on the No-Fly list??? It is about time we face reality. -- Bob
This bombing attempt is proof of how bad TSA has gotten. It's about time we beef up the security measures or we WILL be in serious trouble. -- Smitty
what are we paying the tsa for that person should havenot been on that flight are we going to have a anther sept 11 the goverment needs beter people to run the goverment peoples lifes are at stake. -- Douglas
How long will we continue to fund TSA's ineptitude? $7 billion per year is spent and all there is to show for it are two very high profile failures and a lot of aggravation. In fact, the two terror attempts on airplanes since 9/11 were prevented by the passengers, not any government agency. It's time face the fact that TSA is no improvement over pre-9/11 security and scrap the whole department. - John
It is a shame that bombing/terrorist attempts such as these take place. I think this is one of many examples of how the millions of dollars we spend on wars in far away places that we cannot win would be better invested in our security right here at home. -- Chance
I would be very interested to have you poll your viewers to see what percentage gets more and more discouraged every day on the way our President is "ruining" (as opposed to "running" our country. -- Amy
I don't want to hear from the republicans, 9-11 happened during a "republican watch," many of the safety conditions exist today under the "new administration." It makes me want to join the TEA party, what the hell are my tax $$$ being used for? It seems to me like we should've fired our government a long time ago!!! I'm tired of this Red/Blue game, how about plain ol' solutions??? -- Herb
Homeland security is a farce. I owe a court ordered property settlement from a divorce proceeding. The Homeland Security act allowed the US to deny my passport because of this but Abdul Farouk Abulmutallab was not stopped. -- Cary
I believe the incident with the xmas terrorist attack sounds realy fishy maybe an inside job just like 911 we are loosing our freedom and liberty little by little this is just another way for us to loose our privacy too -- Johnny
It’s time for our government to put their eyes back on the ball to protect the traveling public and quit wasting money bailing bail out defunct companies and spend the money on improving the security of Americas airports and airline passengers. -- Jim
A better job needs to be done when screening passengers. Perhaps a random double-check of passengers once they're on-board the planes either using dogs or a portable "bomb sniffer". -- Juno
