The SDGE "smokesperson" is giving very MISLEADING information to the public, and burning San Diego. 1) They state that it would not have been approved without evaluting the fire risks. FACT - The environmental impact report states that this will result in the highest rated fire risk that a project can be rated, and that there is no mitigation that is possible to reduce this risk. The local fire jurisdiction was bypassed and not given input. In direct contrast to what she stated, the Lakeside Fire Chief said it would increase the risk on that particular route. 2) She said that there were notificatiions. FACT - It is a fact that even the Lakeside Planning Group, and an overwhelming number of the community did not know about this. This is not a "gotcha game" of fine print strategically designed notifications to miselad the public... or is it? She said that there were meetings all over east county. FACT- They met in Campo, Ramona, Alpine.. no one EVER came to Lakeside until after it was approved, and now they want to do open houses. UNBELIEVABLE manipulation of the public for pure corporate gain. Do your homework San Diego. Read the EIR. Talk to your fire dept. Let the truth about the sunrise be known before its too late.
