QUILT AUCTION – The 22nd annual North County Quilters’Association auction will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center during the Arts and Crafts “Christmas on the Farm” event.
Quilts in all sizes, from mini to king, may be viewed between 8:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Admission and bidding numbers are free. Auctioneer Jeffery Hodson, of Hodson Classic Auctions, San Juan Capistrano will begin the event at 10:00 a.m
Silent auction baskets include wines, gourmet snacks and sewing items.
A new feature of the occasion will be the sale of tickets for the same-day drawing for many special prizes including a beautiful antique quilt, golf outing for four, encore membership in the CA Center for the Performing Arts, Legoland tickets, a sewing machine, and more. The winner must be present to claim the prize
Portions of proceeds of the auction are directed to local charities such as St. Claire’s Home, North County Times Charities, North County Interfaith, the Escondido Humane Society, Elizabeth Hospice and others.
