The California Adoption Reunion Registry recently launched last year. It is a free website with the vision and goal of helping all California-born adoptees and their birthfamily members including birthmother, birthfather, and birthsiblings, locate each other and reunite thru a free mutual consent search process. That no-charge process is conducted, researched, and mediated by a volunteer search angel who is a San Diegan native and resident.

The registry already has over 7,000 registrants and there have been hundreds of successful reunions made. Everyone knows at least one person who is either adopted, is a birth mother or birth father, is a long-lost brother or sister, so this registry would be of great interest and benefit to them. It can change their lives dramatically as we've seen with all the families so far reunited.
