River Cleanup at Ward Road in Mission Valley East June 27th 9am-Noon
The San Diego River Park Foundation and the Friends of 92108
will hold a river cleanup event to help remove trash and debris from the San Diego River east of Qualcomm Stadium. Please
help us take back our river and save it from illegal dumping. This is a great
activity for people interested in clean water and a clean habitat for the
plants and animals that call the river home. All tools and supplies are provided.
Community service hours can be verified for those that need them. Be sure to
dress in clothes that can get a little dirty and wear closed shoes, no sandals
or flip-flops allowed for safety reasons. Volunteers will meet in the 24 hour
fitness parking lot at 5885 Rancho
