Salon Diego to Host a Community Appreciation event on
November 5
POINT LOMA,CA- Salon
Diego invites the public to its community appreciation event on Thursday,
November 5, from 10a.m.- 8p.m.. They will be working alongside YES (Youth
Empowerment Services) who is donating time, assistance, and a representative for
the event. Fifty percent of all proceeds will go to the Youth Empowerment
Services.
Y.E.S. is a program that provides vocational
assessment, job counseling, job search training, internships, basic and life
skills training, mentoring, and tutoring for current or former foster children.
The event will include
discounted services, products, hors d’oeuvres, free samples, raffle, and more.
Salon Diego is located on 1050 Rosecrans Street, in
the village plaza.
Salon Diego’s community appreciation is a first
year event. The objective of this event is to thank the community for their
loyalty, and to create an awareness of struggling young women and the hope that
a community pulling together can bring them.
