Jerome’s ‘JClub’ Offers Free Decorating Class on Entertaining for the Holidays
WHAT: Jerome’s Furniture is proud to welcome guests in-store for the fourth JClub event of the year! Titled, “Hot Tips for Dining and Entertaining,” topics to be covered include:
· 2009 Holiday Decor Trends –The hot new colors for the holidays; how to create unforgettable and chic table settings using unique and classic themes and creative ways to design your decor on a dime-sized budget; and
· Space Planning to Make for a Memorable and Successful Holiday Party – Tips on how to create a cozy environment that inspires conversation, fun and ease for any holiday event.

Jerome’s “JClub” launched in 2009 as part of the company’s value-added programs provided to customers in thanks and celebration of the company’s 55th year in San Diego. The 45-minute decorating classes provide style-savvy San Diegans with the opportunity to enhance their design skills and knowledge about the latest trends in home décor.

PRESENTERS: Elizabeth Jerome, Interior Designer and Sales Person for Jerome’s and Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers. With a Bachelors degree in Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego, Elizabeth is known for designing rooms with “casual elegance.” In her role, she provides expert interior design services for customers including at-home consultations, space planning, showroom sales and selection, staging and more. She is counted upon to help customers identify their personal style and create a home that provides form and function.
Heather Kocan, Visual Merchandiser, who is counted-upon for her interior design sense and breadth of experience as part of the Jerome’s “J-Club” design team. She is known as a resource to support customers in identifying their personal style and makes it accessible for San Diegans to experience interior design expertise. Heather is directly responsible for the placement and merchandising of vignettes at the Jerome’s showrooms in Scripps Ranch and San Diego (Morena Blvd.) locations. She creates inventive ways to display accessories that provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for shoppers at Jerome’s. Heather earned a degree in Visual Communications design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University.
